Who controls your data

Vibe Coder's Life is operated by Viktor Kondás, a Hungarian sole trader (egyéni vállalkozó) under the Hungarian subject-based tax exemption (alanyi adómentes). For privacy questions, contact hello@vibecoderslife.com.

Data we collect and why

Newsletter subscriptions

When you subscribe, we collect your email address to send requested newsletter updates. We process it based on your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time through the link in any newsletter or at /unsubscribe.

Contact requests

When you use the contact form or email us, we process the details you provide, including your email address and message, so we can respond and keep appropriate business correspondence.

Purchases

For digital-product purchases, we process records needed to complete and document the transaction. Depending on the checkout details you provide, these may include your name, email address, billing address, tax ID, payment status, purchased product, amount, currency, and transaction identifiers. Full card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by Vibe Coder's Life.

Download and security logs

When you use a personal download link, we may record the time of access, IP address, user agent, and download count. We use these logs to deliver the product, enforce link limits, prevent abuse, troubleshoot access, and protect the service.

Service providers

We use processors that handle data only as needed to provide their services:

• Neon — database hosting for subscriber, purchase, and product-delivery records.
• Resend — newsletter, transactional, and contact email delivery.
• Stripe — checkout, payment processing, fraud prevention, and billing records.
• Vercel — website hosting, serverless infrastructure, and technical logs.

These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area using the safeguards available under applicable data-protection law.

Retention

Newsletter data is kept while you remain subscribed; after unsubscribing, limited suppression data may be retained so we can respect your choice. Contact correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably needed to handle the request and related business records. Purchase and invoice information is kept for the period required by Hungarian accounting and tax law. Download and security logs are kept only as long as needed for delivery, support, abuse prevention, and legal claims, then deleted or anonymized.

Your GDPR rights

Where the GDPR applies, you may ask to access, correct, erase, restrict, or receive a portable copy of your personal data, and you may object to certain processing. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. You also have the right to complain to the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH) or your local supervisory authority.
